    • We are a well established (27 years in business), full service shipyard looking for an experienced welder and metal fabricator. We fabricate tanks, hull parts and other steel and aluminum items typically found on both workboats (tugs and fish) and pleasure craft.

      Work is at our shipyard located at Shelter Island marina in Richmond, BC

    Commodore's Boats has an immediate opening for a welder/fabricator (marine experience is an asset)


    Requirements:

    - Knowledge of specific welding processes, such as TIG, MIG and Stick
    - Ability to measure, draw / cut patterns
    - Experience working with steel and aluminum
    - Other trade, repair experience an asset
    - Ability to use heavy machinery, such as forklifts and cranes
    - Clean driving record
    - No criminal record
    - Comfortable working independently

    None of these skills are essential and required, however the more of them you can demonstrate the better the rate of pay.
