Canadian Power & Sail Squadrons Fishing Derby

The Annual Fishing Derby will be held on May 27th & 28th, 2017, at Francois Lake Lodge.  Fishing starts early on Saturday morning. At 1800, our BBQ begins. The Squadron supplies the burgers (vegetarian on request) and hot dogs. As this is also a pot luck dinner, attendees are asked to bring a salad or dessert. After dinner, there is a horseshoe tournament and bean bag toss. Please pay for your entry to only one of these by buying the appropriate ticket, i.e. fishing derby plus bean bag toss, or fishing derby plus horseshoe pitch. The final weigh-in is at 1300 on Sunday, followed by prize presentations. Tickets are not required for children 15 yrs and under but we do need to know the child's name (and name of accompanying Squadron member) for prize presentations. Tickets will be made out for those who sign up on line and will be available at the derby. Please email this information to bjsmith5601@telus.net.

Also last year Doug Cherry organized a "Golf Tournament" on the Friday and it went over very well. He would like to do this again this year so if you would like to be included in this, please let Doug know at 250-563-0717 so they can organize it.
