The Boating Education & Safety Training Committee works across the British Columbia recreational boating industry to expand public access to quality education, training and safety programs.

Committee Purpose

• Expand boating education awareness and availability
• Increase awareness and access across the supply chain — from safety equipment retailers and marinas to national safety organizations
• Identify and address gaps in public boating education and safety programs
• Represent the industry with a unified voice to government
• Promote high standards of operation for all members

Member Requirements

• Current Boating BC membership in good standing
• Compliance with applicable business licensing, tax and insurance requirements
• Adherence to Transport Canada regulations for on-water education and training
