Sam Dantzler

presented by

Powersport + Marine Industry Sales Expert

Selling the Boating Experience

For most people, a day out boating is an escape from the every day grind; it’s freedom, relaxation and fun with family and friends. As an industry, it takes all of us to make sure the boating experience is on point, and to allow the customer to engage in the emotion that drew them into boating in the first place.  Join industry expert Sam Dantzler and discover why the customer experience is paramount from the initial sales process through the follow-up and service departments; from the emotion created in the marketing department and every other touch point along the way. Sam is well-established as the premier keynote speaker about selling in the powersport and marine industry across North America, and will walk delegates through the psychology on why customer-driven selling is the only thing that will survive within bricks and mortar in this internet-obsessed world.

The Power of Healthy Tension: Overcome Chronic Issues and Conflicting Values

Often leaders have a clear vision but fail to live it out.  They get stuck due to conflicting values, division within the team, and resistance to change.  The reality is that, in our increasingly polarized world, managing healthy tension has never been more critical to move teams from conflict to collaboration and to achieve organizational success. Tim Arnold, Leadership Development and Teambuilding expert, will share The Power of Healthy Tension, which helps organizations get unstuck by providing a simple 4-step framework that will help delegates unite their teams, spark change, and achieve their goals. Tim’s process has helped hundreds of organizations and thousands of leaders move from surviving to thriving. The research is clear:  leaders and teams that understand The Power of Healthy Tension outperform those who don’t!

2018 Sport Fishing Report

Martin Paish is returning to the Boating BC Conference with the annual Sport Fishing Report. 2018 has been an intense year for sport fishing given bold moves made by the Ministry of Fisheries and Oceans to protect the Southern Resident Killer Whale’s food supply. The outcome of those decisions on the 2018 fishing season, and the impact on recreational boating is just one part of the Fishing Report, which will include updates, trends and forecasts from the Sport Fishing Institute of BC.
