What Is BC's Top Boating Destination for 2018?

Our top boating destination is back for a second year! Last year, boaters voted Ganges Harbour on Salt Spring Island as their favourite destination for 2017, and over the next three-weeks, British Columbians will have the opportunity to select from a top-ten list of boating destinations for this year’s coveted top spot!

British Columbia is home to some of the most expansive and beautiful boating opportunities anywhere in the world. From Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, to the more than 27,000 kilometres of scenic coastline, to the hundreds of sparking waterways in the interior and the north – there are literally hundreds of opportunities for any boating enthusiast.

But what is the top BC boating destination?

We reached out to our members to help narrow down this year’s list to these final ten destinations:

  • Bowron Lakes
  • Harrison Lake
  • Heriot Bay (Quadra Island)
  • Kicking Horse River
  • Kootenay Lake
  • Montague Harbour (Galiano Island)
  • Saysutshun Newcastle Island
  • Plumper Cove (Keats Island)
  • Princess Louisa Inlet
  • Shuswap Lake

We’re inviting boaters to vote below and help us determine this year’s top destination!

The winner will be announced on Facebook and Twitter (@boatingbc) on Thursday, July 12th.

Happy Boating!
