Harrison Dragon Boat Regatta Race

Date: Saturday, July 22nd 2017

Start Time: 8:30am – marshalling 30 minutes before race time.

Location: Main Beach on Harrison Lake, Harrison Hot Springs, B.C.

Race Course: 200m and 500m (weather permitting)

Team check in (Mandatory): Starting at 6:45am. Make sure registration and waivers are complete.

Team Manager’s and Steerperson’s Meeting: 7:30am (approximately)

Awards and Prizes: Medals and Ribbons

Boats: BUK - 6 Lane Heats

Divisions: Mixed, Women's Only, Junior* (*minimum 6 registered junior teams needed to establish division)

Mixed Crew: Maximum of 10 Men. Minimum of 10 Women

Steers/Callers: Either gender on Mixed, Junior or Women's Only Teams

Maximum Number of Teams: 72

Race Management

FVDBC is very pleased to be able to annouce that G2G Race Management will be handling the on-water portion of our Regatta, with Greg Lamb as our Race Director. Greg and his Race Officiating Crew bring years of dragon boat regatta experience to our event. Greg has been involved in some of the largest dragon boat regattas both locally and internationally. We are very excited to be working with G2G Race Management to ensure the best race experience possible for our valued guest paddlers. We look forward to seeing everyone out on the water with us in July.
