Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

Jones Boys Boats is looking for someone with a passion for the marine and recreation industry, with previous experience in service writing or previous experience/knowledge of the marine industry.

Our new team member will have the ability to work as part of a team, have great customer service skills and is motivated to get their job done efficiently.  Marine experience & knowledge an asset, but not required if have previous service writing experience. 

An ideal candidate will have the following abilities:

• Possess strong customer service skills
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have a good working knowledge of marine parts or the ability to learn
• Computer literate
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment as part of a team
• Be detail oriented, reliable and punctual
• Have a good work ethic
• Having knowledge of Yamaha and Mercury Outboards, Volvo Penta and Mercruiser engines is a plus

Duties will entail:

• Taking phone calls and scheduling service appointments
• Writing repair orders and filing warranties
• Maintaining records for all service work performed
• Communicating with technicians and parts department to track work being performed and providing customers with updates
• Customer service is key!
