Our clients love their boats, and they come to us looking for advice and solutions. Our marine product range is broad, including electronics (GPS chartplotters, depth sounders, radars, Sat TV, etc), electrical (batteries, chargers, and solar panels) and even heating systems & water makers. You will connect with clients over the phone, online, or in-person and help them choose the best products for the way they use their boat.

We are looking for a sales associate who is outgoing, organized, and takes great pride in surpassing client expectations. If you're also friendly and have a sense of humour, you'll fit right in. You should be familiar with boating terminology and be tech-savvy, but most importantly, you must like working with lots of different people. You are pro-active, think on your feet and predict what is necessary to meet our clients' expectations.

Duties include:

• Daily interaction with clients in person, online and over the telephone
• Provide detailed quotes for clients
• Generate sales based on these interactions and quotes
• Actively follow up on open quotes and leads
• Assist with inventory and warehouse organization
• Assist with customer service and warranty claims
• Assist with keeping the showroom organized and maintained

Required Experience and Skills include:

• 3-5 years of experience in a sales or customer service role
• Effective, professional communication and inter-personal skills
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay current with new products and tech
• Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Knowledge of Boating and Marine Electronics a very large asset
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Bonus if you have used Quickbooks before
