Position:  Full-time Service Technician

Location: Vector Yacht Services Ltd., Sidney, BC

Overview:

The Vancouver Island's premier marine service dealership is searching for a highly professional, ENERGETIC & EXPERIENCED service technician to join our team!  This is your chance to work on the island and enjoy the area working for Sidney's Premier haul out and service company – Vector Yacht Services Ltd. We have been in business for over 30 years and our team has enjoyed serving our amazing clients. We are major dealers for Volvo Penta, Mercury, Yanmar, Suzuki, Zodiac-Milpro, Kohler, Ultrajet and others.

Ideal Candidate

• Three+ years’ marine mechanical experience
• Merc and Volvo inboard / outboard
• Experience with inboards (Volvo/Yanmar)
• Experience working with gas or diesel engines.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems 
• Work alone or with a team to go above and beyond.
• Complete all repair jobs accurately and timely.
• Keep updated with all manufacturer product launches, updates and product sales training.

 Benefits:

• Wage: $25+ per hour. (*depending on experience)
