GRAHAM SHERMAN

Owner, Tool Shed Brewing Company

Graham Sherman is a self-professed “high level geek” and co-founder of the Tool Shed Brewing Company. He met his Tool Shed co-founder back in 2007, while they both worked on contracts supporting the Canadian and US government and military forces in Afghanistan.

By day, they rolled around in armoured vehicles, “geeking out” in the world of satellite communications. By night, they aimed their obsessive, high-level thinking at mastering coffee, competitive BBQ, and eventually, brewing craft beer in Graham’s backyard tool shed.

In 2013, the Tool Shed Brewing Company was launched and Graham has never looked back. Tool Shed is now sold in over 1000 locations across Western Canada, with its 22,000 square foot headquarters located in Calgary. 

Graham has been nominated as Canadian Entrepreneur of the Year, was named one of Calgary’s “top 40 under 40”, and received the 2018 Business in Calgary Leaders award.

2021 Economic Overview of the Recreational Boating Industry
