The position requires operation of forklift to launch, lift and move boats and get training on our special "sealift" equipment for hauling out larger vessels.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role you are responsible to assist in the smooth running of all marina operations including dry land boat storage, boat launching ramp, forklift and hydraulic boat lift and general yard maintenance.  

·       Assist with marina and boat yard maintenance

·       Assist with lifting boats in and out of the water and blocking them with a lift

·       Launch boats on trailers; operate the forklift and pressure washer as required

·       Safety is a priority for us so ensuring boat yard safety and cleanliness is a must

Qualifications and Skills

·       Must have high level of comfort driving and operating equipment, forklift experience an asset

·       Previous marina experience highly preferred or solid knowledge of boats

·       Knowledge of boating service equipment and boats

·       Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work

·       Proficiency in English

·       Enjoys working outdoors in a team environment
