Milltown Marine Services is a full service marine repair shop with three climate controlled 35’ bays, located in Vancouver’s newest marina, Milltown Marina. We service 15’ to 150’ boats, a majority from our in-water and drystack moorage (total marina capacity of 425 boats). We are capable of regular and preventative maintenance, but also conduct major refit and repower projects onsite.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

Milltown Marine Services is looking for an experienced boat finisher who is self-motivated, hardworking and able to execute the job safely and efficiently.

Our new team member will have the ability to prioritize workload based on deadlines while producing high quality work with extreme attention to detail. Marine experience & knowledge an asset, but not required.

Work with mechanics & shipwrights to finalize projects before delivery to clients
Wash, wax, polish & detail interior & exterior of boats
Experience with antifouling primer & paints
Conduct minor paint, gelcoat & fiberglass repairs
Assist with pressure washing & boat moving procedures
Willing to learn & stay current with industry trends & standards
Maintain a clean & safe shop
Support a culture of continuous improvement to increase efficiencies & reduce costs
